Tsega Bible
Tsega Bible has no account, no server, no ads and no analytics, and it can't connect to the internet. The Bibles are built into the app, and everything you save stays on your phone.
What the app stores
The name you enter, where you are reading, your reading settings, your streak and the chapters you've read.
Your highlights, bookmarks, quotes, reading plans and widget settings, including any words you write for the widget.
Photos you pick as backgrounds, copied into the app's private storage.
Reading aloud
Read-aloud uses the text-to-speech engine installed on your phone. That engine is part of Android, made by Google or your phone's maker, and handles the text under its own policy.
Photos
Backgrounds come from the system photo picker, so the app only gets the photo you choose.
Sharing
When you tap share, verses and quote images go through Android's share sheet to the app you pick. Tsega Bible doesn't share, sell or send any data itself.
Deleting your data
Remove highlights, bookmarks, quotes and plans in the app. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes everything.
Children
Tsega Bible is suitable for all ages. It collects nothing from anyone, and has no ads, purchases or chat.
Phone backups
If you've turned on backup to your Google account in Android's settings, Android may include Tsega Bible's saved data in that backup. The backup belongs to your Google account and isn't sent to me.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts handling data differently, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
