Memo

Memo has no account, no server, no ads and no analytics, and it can't connect to the internet. Your recordings stay on your phone.

What the app stores

Your recordings, saved as audio files in the app's private storage, with their titles, lengths, dates and waveforms.

Microphone

Memo only uses the microphone while you're recording.

Sharing

Memo doesn't share, sell or send any data to anyone.

Deleting your data

Deleting a memo removes its recording. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes everything.

Children

Memo isn't aimed at children and collects nothing from anyone.

Phone backups

If you've turned on backup to your Google account in Android's settings, Android may include Memo's saved data in that backup. The backup belongs to your Google account and isn't sent to me.

Changes to this policy

If the app starts handling data differently, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.

Contact

Memo is made by Kidus Yohannes. Questions about this policy or your data: kidyoh789@gmail.com.
