Privacy policy · Updated 19 October 2026
Hillward
Hillward is an offline sledding game. It has no account, no server, no ads, no purchases and no analytics, and it collects nothing about you.
What the game stores
Your progress: which levels are unlocked, your stars and best scores, and whether sound is on. That's all, and it stays on your device.
Internet
The Android app includes the internet permission because the framework it's built with adds it, but the game never uses it.
If you play the web version in a browser, the game's files come from the website that hosts it, which sees the usual details of a web visit, such as your IP address.
Sharing
Hillward doesn't share, sell or send any data to anyone.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the game, or clearing its storage, deletes your progress. In a browser, clearing the site's data does the same.
Children
Hillward is suitable for all ages. It collects nothing from anyone, including children, and has no ads, purchases or chat.
Phone backups
If you've turned on backup to your Google account in Android's settings, Android may include Hillward's saved data in that backup. The backup belongs to your Google account and isn't sent to me.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts handling data differently, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
Contact
Hillward is made by Kidus Yohannes. Questions about this policy or your data: kidyoh789@gmail.com.
