Glass Calendar

Glass Calendar has no account, no server, no ads and no analytics. It doesn't connect to the internet. Everything it shows and stores stays on your phone.

What the app stores

Your settings (calendar type, theme, language and which calendars to show) are saved on your phone.

Reminders you set are scheduled with Android's own alarm and notification system on your phone.

Your phone's calendar

If you allow calendar access, Glass Calendar reads the events in the calendars on your phone so it can show them, and adds, edits or deletes events when you ask it to.

Those calendars belong to your phone and your accounts. If one of them syncs with a service such as Google Calendar, that sync is done by your phone and that service, not by Glass Calendar. The app never sends your events anywhere itself.

You can say no, or turn calendar access off later in Android settings. The Ethiopian and Gregorian calendars and holidays still work without it.

Permissions

Calendar: to show and edit your phone's events, only if you allow it.

Notifications, alarms and reminders, and starting after a restart: to deliver reminders on time, including after the phone restarts.

Sharing

Glass Calendar doesn't share, sell or send any data to anyone.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes its settings and reminders. Events in your phone's calendars stay there, since they belong to those calendars.

Children

The app isn't aimed at children and collects nothing from anyone.

Phone backups

If you've turned on backup to your Google account in Android's settings, Android may include Glass Calendar's saved data in that backup. The backup belongs to your Google account and isn't sent to me.

Changes to this policy

If the app starts handling data differently, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
